Taky Kimura was a Karate Black Belt before meeting Bruce Lee. They ended up being best friends actually and Bruce tought Kimura his way of fighting and Kimura abandoned Karate completely. Kimura eventually went on to become one of Bruce's best students, and was even given the right to be a Jeet Kune Do teacher by Bruce Lee. Something only 3 people on the planet was given. During these sparring matches Bruce always told his students to go FULL OUT attack, no holding back. And you can see that Kimura is trying, but he simply can't handle the speed and strength of Bruce.
